Little Witch

This 60th anniversary edition of the classic Little Witch is sure to delight young readers this Halloween!  It follows the adventures of 9-year-old Minx, a little witch, who wants to sneak away and go to school.  One day she successfully sneaks away from her mother, a mean witch named Madame Snickasnee as she is sleeping.  This story follows Minx and her trials and adventures as she meets a group of mortal friends and mixes powders to find the “beautiful lady”.  

Original published, this book is one of my favorite childhood books that I read to all of my children each Halloween.  Reading age is 6-9, but children 4 and up delight in this delightful story.
