My Polish ancestors would use rye straw from the field and assorted flowers to create a chandelier to welcome the spring equinox.  Hung over the hearth they are believed to bring good health and luck.  Our Pajaki is a beautiful paper and straw chandelier made of rich jewel tones and measures 20” x 30”.
